ACV, or Apple Cider Vinegar, is something you may have in your pantry and perhaps not given much use of, yet yields some potent health benefits you don't want to pass up.
1. Lowers glucose.
Research shows that consumption of up to 15mL of ACV post meal can manage glucose levels. While it is NOT a green light to eat poorly, it can help to regulate and manage a good, healthy diet.

2. Controls satiety.
Research shows that consumption of ACV can help manage appetite so if you are looking to prolong your fasting time this can help as ACV can help you feel full. I do want to emphasize care be taken to NOT abuse the use of ACV in order to suppress your appetite and restrict food intake. Care to not develop an eating disorder must be taken.
3. Burn stored fat.
You can take some ACV to assist your body to burn stored fat- the fat you're trying to target anyhow! While consuming a clean, healthy diet in addition to active lifestyle are irreplaceable ACV contains acetic acid to repress glucose uptake and get your body tapping into it's fat storage for energy use.
4. Burn fatty liver.
Obesity and Type II diabetes are hallmarks for causing fatty liver disease- perhaps something you were unaware of. Research has shown promising benefits in combating fatty liver with the use of ACV.
5. Heartburn relief.
I can personally attest to this one! A friend of mine came over with some heartburn asking for TUMS. Naturally we didn't have any and instead I had him down a couple tablespoons of ACV and voila- his heartburn disappeared!
